Why do doctors recommend

WEARING BELLY BANDS STARTING FROM THE 14th WEEK?

First, you find that walking for long periods of time causes discomfort in your lower back. Then, going to the store is torture. Finally, by the ninth month of your pregnancy, the only thing you want to do is lie down. Additionally, the excess pregnancy-related weight in your belly can lead to unfortunate consequences such as pinching and inflammation of the sciatic nerve, the development of an intervertebral hernia, or intercostal neuralgia.

During pregnancy, the skin does not have time to adequately stretch to accommodate the rapidly growing baby in the mother’s belly. A lack of collagen leads to the formation of stretch marks: The dermal tissue is torn and pink stripes (which later turn white) form at the rupture site. Only plastic surgery can remove such scars. Therefore, it’s easier to prevent stretch marks than to deal with them after they appear.

Your baby moves a lot in the womb. Even before childbirth, the baby may suddenly roll over, creating a foot, breech, or even lateral presentation. In that case, natural birth will become impossible. That’s why it’s important to hold the baby in the right position.

Most new mothers, regardless of their delivery method, will experience bruising, swelling, tearing, episiotomy stitches, and sore muscles. To maintain and improve the general condition of the body, it is important that you choose the right postpartum band. Wearing a belly band postpartum can be beneficial, as it provides additional support to the abdomen and lower back, thereby decreasing discomfort.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1.Lower part

Due to its lower part, the size of the belly band will increase along with your baby. The bottom part allows you to adjust the band up to 30 cm of volume and reliably supports your baby in late pregnancy. It prevents muscle diastasis and contributes to the smooth stretching of your skin.

2.Wide main part

The main part is tightly attached to the lumbar part of your torso, compensating for your growing tummy. The band’s wide back relieves back pain and improves your posture. There is also less pressure on the sciatic nerve. Additionally, the band corrects the position of the spine to address issues like lordosis, scoliosis, etc.

3.Upper elastic band

The upper elastic band prevents the belly band from slipping during prolonged wear. It has been cleverly designed to not roll down. The belly band will not shift while you are engaging in activities and it provides additional support on the sides.

1.Wide main part

After childbirth, the belly band is worn with the wide part to the stomach and the narrow part to the back. Thus, the abdomen and cortex are tightened, the internal organs return to their positions faster, and the skin on the stomach improves. The effect of constant compression (2-3 times) accelerates recovery after childbirth.

2.Upper elastic band

The elastic band that, in the prenatal version, held the upper abdomen can now enhance the pull-up effect. It is attached to the upper part of the corset, where it helps reduce the waist and restore elasticity to the skin. It also reduces the load on the lower back.
